LocationWhy Paraguay

Why Move to Paraguay.

Low tax, low cost of living, politically stable, and a path to a passport without a full-time residency requirement. Paraguay is one of the few countries left in the world that still welcomes outsiders the way it welcomes its own. Asunción moves at a human pace. The land is wide, the people are warm, and the door is genuinely open. For families looking for a Plan B, founders looking for breathing room, or retirees looking for a softer life, Paraguay is quietly becoming the answer.

AboutWho we are

Built by someone who has been through it.

Itaju Residency was founded by Carl, who went through the process himself before setting up his business in Asunción. He understood the importance of customer service while learning the system inside out, from tax registration to business setup structures for foreign clients.

Most clients are kept in the dark and pushed through different departments, which can take months when it is not done properly the first time. The language barrier adds another layer for foreigners who do not understand the local system. The answer was straightforward. Two trips, both run by us, and a team that answers when you message. That is the whole offer, and it is the reason our clients keep referring us.

Testimonials

Trusted by families and founders worldwide.

Germany kept getting more expensive and more complicated every year. I wanted somewhere I could land if things got worse. Itaju Residency was clear about what was included and what wasn't, which is more than I can say for the other firms I spoke to. The trip itself was honestly the easy part.

We're a family of four so the decision wasn't easy. I had a lot of questions and the Itaju team answered every one without making us feel rushed. The kids were with us the whole time in Asunción and it actually felt manageable. We're settling in now.

CamilaFamily of four, relocated from United States

I wanted a serious second jurisdiction outside South Africa and Paraguay kept coming up the more I researched. What I didn't expect was for the process to be this straightforward. Itaju understood why someone like me wants a base in a country that respects financial privacy, and they didn't make a thing of it.
